OceanMara is a marine consultancy providing specialist support in marine ecology, seabed analysis, and environmental data interpretation. The focus of the consultancy is to transform complex marine survey data into clear ecological insights that support environmental monitoring, impact assessment, and sustainable marine management.
OceanMara works with a range of marine datasets, including diver and ROV imagery, benthic seabed surveys, and environmental monitoring programmes, helping translate technical data into clear, evidence-based outputs for marine projects.

About OcéanMara
Founder
I am a Marine Ecologist and Photogrammetry Analyst with experience analysing underwater imagery and marine survey data to support environmental monitoring and seabed habitat assessment.
I hold an MSc in Aquaculture, Environment and Society (ACES+). My academic research and professional work have focused on the analysis of marine ecosystems across both temperate and tropical environments, with particular expertise in UK benthic habitats and coastal ecosystems.
Through my work I have developed experience analysing benthic seabed survey data associated with Scottish aquaculture systems, supporting environmental monitoring, ecological status assessment, and site capacity evaluations.
I specialise in the use of photogrammetry, spatial analysis and statistical tools such as R and QGIS to interpret complex marine datasets and produce clear technical outputs for environmental reporting and marine management.
As a certified Divemaster, I also bring practical field experience in underwater survey work, providing an understanding of both marine data collection and analytical interpretation.
